Our body is 70% water, and ironically, the Earth is also. Thanks to the Earth’s water cycle, it has maintained about the same amount of water that it started with from it’s creation..…over 3 billion years ago!
In contrast, our body does not recycle it’s own water. We lose about 2-3 quarts of water on a daily basis through perspiration, respiration and elimination, therefore it’s imperative to put water back into our system.

Dehydration leads to malfunctions in the bodily systems, which lead to illness and eventually disease. Two obvious signs of dehydration are thirst and dry skin. Skin will show signs of dryness and may become itchy. Fine lines and dark circles under the eyes may appear. A good rule of thumb – drink before you’re thirsty! Thirst is an indication that dehydration has begun.
